Small Works Gallery Agreement for Hire

Availability is subject to demand and we book our calendar on a "first come, first served" basis.

We will be flexible when we can, so please talk to us about anything you might need.

All bumping in and bumping out must be accommodated within your hire period.

Please leave the space as you found it and take all rubbish with you - this includes the bathroom facilities.

Upon booking, you must pay in full to secure your place in the calendar. 

Completing a booking transaction via this website does not guarantee your booking.

Small Works Gallery reserves the right to refuse any booking at their own discretion. In the case of Small Works Gallery cancelling a booking you will receive a full refund of all charges.

If the dates chosen are not available we will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss further.  Any changes to dates by the Hirer may incur a change date fee.  For more information on cancellations and refunds, please click here

It is the responsibility of the Hirer to provide their own insurances and NSW RSA certification if selling alcohol at an event. Consumption of alcohol is confined to the space itself and not permitted on the footpath. All gatherings must be concluded by 8pm and all music must be kept to a minimum. We have residents above the gallery and need to be considerate of them always.

As we all navigate our way through the ongoing changes to the Government requirements due to Covid-19, the Hirer is responsible for managing the compliance to any requirements for restrictions on numbers of people within the space during their Hire period. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure they are compliant with all current directives with the most up to date information provided through Government channels.  All public health orders in relation to entry must be adhered to by the Hirer.

Small Works Gallery will provide hand sanitiser and a QR code for people to check in to your event.  The Hirer is responsible to ensure that every person that enters the premises complies with requirements to both sanitise and check-in.  
If any breaches of the Government requirements are incurred during the Hire period, payment for any fines issued as a result will be the sole responsibility of the Hirer.

In the event where Small Works Gallery has to replace or repair any damaged property, replace the locks/keys, or clean up after the booked dates, the Hirer will be invoiced accordingly.
